Should You Invest In A Memory Foam Mattress?

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

If you’ve been shopping for a memory foam mattress, you’ve probably heard about density being a key factor in your decision. Higher density typically means a higher quality because it offers more support and durability, and usually uses a better type of foam. You will have to pay a bit more for this, but it will likely be worth it.

Determining the density basically comes down to how much weight a sample of the foam being tested can withhold. The pounds it can hold up are measured per cubic foot, giving a final number in pcf that usually ranges between 2. 5 and 6. Most retailers, though, only use pounds, and would label a 5 pcf mattress as 5 lbs when selling it in stores.

Density, above anything else, signifies how good the product you’re getting is and how comfortable it will be. If you’re debating between getting one that costs more over one that is cheaper but won’t give you what you need, it’s better to save your money and get something that is not only more comfortable, but that will also last longer.

Dual Flush Toilet & Steam Shower Bathroom Design Ideas

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

If you are redesigning an existing bathroom or planning a new one, there are a couple fixtures you should consider: Steam Showers and Dual Flush Toilets. Steam showers multi-task, save space, and provide luxurious comfort while a dual flush toilet saves you money and headache.

In smaller bathrooms, corner stand up steam showers allow you to make the most of your space without compromising features. Less than three feet in depth, these showers can fit almost anywhere. There are even steam shower units designed to fit in standard bathtub enclosures that include a whirlpool bathtub.

This convenient design is probably the most popular, followed closely by the two person steam showers. For large bathrooms, the roomy two person showers are the ultimate luxury item. With dual handheld shower heads, plenty of interior space and a two person whirlpool tub, your master bathroom will never be the same again. By combining a luxury shower, steam room, and whirlpool tub in one unit, both space and money are saved.

Getting Massive Back Links To Your Site (Part II)

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

In one of my earlier articles, I had talked about the importance of getting lots of back links to your site in order to rank well in the search engines. Building links is also known as Off Page Optimization.

When you build links to your site, which websites link back to your site and the page rank of that website are important. Linking with websites that dont count with the search engines is a wasted effort.

Search engines take many factors into account. One of them is the keywords used in the anchor text in linking back to your site. If your site is about love than the anchor text: love making tips may be given more importance than the anchor text: recommended website.

Search engines also take into account the page title of the website linking to you. The website should be considered to be an authority site by a search engine like Google for the back link to get more importance.

In short, you should try to get quality back links from those websites that are related to your sites niche. Those websites should be considered as authority sites by the search engines. The anchor text used to link back to your site should contain your site niche related keyword.

Know How To Place Stop Loss?

Saturday, May 2nd, 2009

The forex markets are highly volatile. There is so much noise in the intra day forex market; it becomes difficult for new retail forex traders to know where to put the stop loss. The prices in the intra day market keeps on jumping 10-20 pips for no apparent reason.

The noise in the intraday market keeps on frustrating new day traders. They constantly find their stop losses being tripped even when the rates are going in the anticipated direction.

A static 10-20 pip stop loss is an arbitrary choice many traders make. Many new traders also use Trailing Stop Loss. Place your trailing stop loss too close and you will find your stop hit too early. Place it too far and you will have to forgo potential profits if the price retraces.

You should place your stop loss on dynamic levels. Most of the professional traders do use stop loss but mostly place it on their computers making them invisible to their brokers.

Stop hunting is something the brokers are continuously doing. If a broker finds many stop losses at a particular price level on his price feed; he can easily trip them using a momentary blip in the price. You cant even complain. The momentary spike happened due to a sudden large transaction in the market.
