Outdoor Party Themes
Sunday, July 11th, 2010Food always tastes better outdoors and company is always better enjoyed outdoors. That is why I like taking the party at the garden and do barbeque rather than the traditional dinner or lunch in a restaurant. Below are some tips on how you can improve an ordinary barbeque party and make it the event of the year.
Dining by Candlelight
Why not take a traditional dinner with candlelight in an outdoor venue. Hang some white lights on a tree and put the table under the tree. It creates an instant enchanted look. You can also try putting some torch stands around the garden. So you can hit two birds with one stone, you can try and get the candles that repel insects.
Venue
If you have a nice big garden, it is always nice to take the party there. In case your garden is too small, you can take it to a park, a playground, a rooftop, by the lake or river, or the beach. These venues offer a clear view of the sky, a nice wide open source of air and a really bigger place for people move around and mingle. A wide open space is always equals big happy movements. Just make sure that you have a back up plan just in case the weather does not cooperate. Have a tent or canopy ready or another venue reserved.
